SYNOPSIS

In generative AI, hands that do not appear with five fingers are often treated as technical errors to be corrected. Engineers spend vast computational resources and energy refining models to produce “proper” hands. But can this really be described as mere error correction? Behind what AI calls an error, I began to sense the lives of minorities being excluded. This documentary film was made through conversations with people with cleft hands, their families, and medical professionals.
